Thank you all!!!
This was a special day! Key players and decision-makers of the German-Czech economy gathered in Prague at the German Czech Economic Forum to jointly discuss and present solutions and strategies for a successful adaptation in times of crisis and the transformation of the industry.
The keynotes of 🇩🇪 Economy Minister Robert Habeck and ŠKODA AUTO. CEO Klaus Zellmr clearly showed: the importance and potential of German-Czech economic cooperation are enormous. Both made it clear that sustainability will not be sidelined in times of crisis, but part of the solution. We are very grateful for the valuable and rare input of both speakers.
The power of dialogue: Panel discussions, workshops and round tables showed that business is oriented towards the future and solutions even in difficult times. We must face the challenges together, both at the business and national level. Therefore, it is an important signal that the Czech Minister of Industry and Trade, Jozef Síkela, also spoke at the GCEF. Vice-Chancellor Habeck paid tribute to the 🇨🇿 government for how well the country handles the role of the EU Council presidency. Czech Republic has proven itself as a moderator in the search for common European solutions, e.g. in the issue of the energy crisis. This is not a given!
Many thanks to all of our Partners.
And last but not least: many thanks to all 350 guests. See you soon and until then... stay resilient! 🙂

Panel Discussion I:
"Energy, Industry, and International Trade in Transformation"
The energy crisis, disrupted supply chains, inflationary rising prices in procurement, and the urgent need to protect the climate are global challenges. What does this mean strategically for the industrially designed European economy, e. g. with a view to the procurement of raw materials or the due diligence requirements in supply chain design? This applies above all to export-oriented countries such as Germany and the Czech Republic.

Panel Discussion II
"Innovation, Transformation, and Value Creation in the German-Czech Economy"
The German-Czech economy has been setting one record after another for decades. The character of the cooperation has also changed significantly in the last ten years – R&D is gaining importance, also with German investments in the Czech Republic. But how can we take the cooperation to a new level with a view to the current challenges in digitization, supply chains, and sustainability and turn it into a showcase for other cross-border regions in Europe?
